
Casper test
Casper is an online, video-scenario based situational judgement test, designed to measure non-academic suitability for teaching. Students applying to all initial teacher education courses are required to take the Casper assessment.

If you don’t quite meet the requirements to get into your desired course, the Associate Degree of Education is the perfect way to start your journey to becoming a teacher, and is Victoria’s first accredited pathway program into initial teacher education. Upon graduating from the associate degree you'll be offered guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Education (Primary), provided you successfully complete the Casper test.
We also know that you might discover a passion for teaching later in life, after you’ve completed an undergraduate qualification. That’s why we offer initial teacher education degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
