Sport and fitness

Sport has always been at the heart of Deakin, and is one of our greatest strengths. We have a variety of facilities across our campuses, including gyms, fitness classes, basketball courts and sports ovals.

DeakinACTIVE

DeakinACTIVE is the home of sport, health and wellbeing at Deakin. We promote an integrated approach to wellness, so you can have a healthy lifestyle and succeed at your studies and beyond.

We'll help you achieve your goals in a way that suits you. Choose to work out in a fitness centre or personalised training session, go for a run, join a group fitness class, have a health consultation, work out online or play your favourite sport. We also have an app – DeakinMOVES – that includes programs, challenges, and a physical activity tracker to keep you connected and motivated.
